ABOUT
Acting has been a core part of me for years, even since primary school productions. Watching films instilled a dream in me to step on a movie set, and I knew that acting was calling my name. What some may have thought was a phase is something that over a decade later is still going strong and I have a grand tug towards.
For a few years, I was part of My Stage School where we focused on musical theatre and alternated between acting, singing, and dance. It was here and with my evolving love for film that made me realise that as much as theatre had my heart, film and screen acting connected with me in a much more visceral way.
After being part of productions in secondary school (like Scrooge in A Christmas Carol), I took GCSE Drama as part of my subjects. Here, we studied texts like The Crucible by Arthur Miller, as well as analysing stage performances like Frantic Assembly's Othello or The Woman In Black. Alongside this, I took part in my first musical at secondary school, Legally Blonde, in which I played Kyle.
Around this time I joined the older teen group in Theatre Stars. After years of musicals I was interested in exploring plays too. I played Hans Weber in our production of Anna.
Recently, however, I've been meaning to take my experience from my classes over the years and translate them into film. I hope to start posting monologues onto here as well as working on my own short films.
